Job description

Summary

Pacific Office Automation (POA) is the largest independently owned document imaging and technology dealer in the U.S., and they are seeking a Data Collection Agent Intern. This internship supports client operations by installing Data Collection Agents on customer networks and configuring them in MPS Monitor, providing hands-on experience with real clients and systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy DCAs remotely and configure clusters in MPS Monitor
  • Verify installations and troubleshoot basic issues
  • Communicate with clients via phone/email to guide installations
  • Document activity and maintain accurate records
  • Escalate complex issues as needed

Skills

  • Pursuing a degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity, or related field
  • Basic knowledge of Windows systems and networking (IP, LAN/WAN, permissions)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to follow processes
  • Experience with remote support tools
  • Interest in managed print services or IT support
  • Previous customer-facing or technical experience
