Summary
ParentSquare provides unified communication tools that help schools and families improve student engagement. The Sales Manager, SMB will manage a sales territory, build and convert a pipeline of SMB leads, develop tailored solutions and proposals for school districts, close contracts, and drive revenue while supporting customer handoff.
Responsibilities
- Developing an in-depth knowledge of what drives purchasing decisions in your territory, utilizing the tools and resources provided by the company
- Knowing the ParentSquare platform inside and out so that you can effectively communicate our key features, benefits, and differentiators to prospects
- Possess a consultative selling approach to understanding a client’s need and customizing a solution that meets that need in a high volume environment
- Influencing, working, and providing strategy for RFPs, ensuring that our proposals are tailored to meet the unique needs of each school district
- Manage, track, and keep your pipeline well-organized using Hubspot
- Creating a territory plan that aligns with meeting a revenue goal
- Close business and drive revenue in a strategic and methodical way by studying and navigating the sales process, engaging stakeholders and decision makers, conducting effective demos, and ultimately obtaining a signed contract
- Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure a seamless handover post-sale with detailed and accurate notes from the sales process
- Being a champion of ParentSquare’s value proposition and reputation at all times
Skills
- Experience working in the K-12 Education industry specifically within high volume accounts
- Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed quota consistently with focus on SMB customers
- Proven track record of selling solutions with persuasive closing techniques
- Tech savvy (from GSuite to navigating our platform)
- Ability (and desire) to travel extensively
- Bachelor's degree preferred or like experience
- Hubspot experience, preferred
