Summary

Parker Hannifin is a Fortune 250 global leader in motion and control technologies and systems. As a Human Resources Intern, you will gain valuable experience supporting the HR team at the Metamora, OH manufacturing facility while assisting in various HR functions and projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the recruitment process by sourcing candidates, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and maintaining applicant tracking systems to support the hiring of top talent
  • Collaborate as part of recognition, community outreach, and engagement high performance team
  • Support the development and implementation of employee engagement strategies by conducting surveys, analyzing feedback, and assisting in the planning of team-building activities and initiatives that foster a positive workplace culture
  • Apply continuous improvement measures and methods to help create efficient HR service delivery
  • Perform these and all other duties as responsibilities necessitate

Skills

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher at an accredited 4-year college or university
  • Must be a Junior or Senior status with GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and presentation software
  • Outstanding multitasking abilities
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrates a growing knowledge of human resource disciplines and principles
  • Ability to provide high quality customer service through phone calls, email, and face to face interactions handling multiple priorities
  • Able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
