Data Processing Analyst 2

Summary

Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College is seeking a Data Processing Analyst 2 to support LSU Digital and Continuing Education. The role consolidates, analyzes, and visualizes data; manages electronic reporting systems; develops reports and database functionality; and provides technical and reporting support to university teams.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, managing, and implementing electronic reports, including but not limited to financial, enrollment, demographic, marketing, course procedural and student course progress reports. (30%)
• Responsible for maintenance and support of reporting systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Sharepoint, SQL Reporting Services, Jenzabar reporting, Moodle reporting, Salesforce reporting, and Tableau. (30%)
• Responsible for creating and maintaining database tables, views, and stored procedures for back end report functionality. Programs that will be used are Windows 2012 servers in a VMWare virtual environment running Sharepoint, Moodle, MediaSite, Jenzabar, SQL, IIS web services, and AWS.(15%)
• Responsible for migration of reports to other systems as needed, including but not limited to migration of Sharepoint/SQL Reporting Services reports to Moodle, Salesforce, and Tableau in conjunction with departmental initiatives. (15%)
• Assist with development and maintenance of new and existing in-house applications, including but not limited to course evaluation web applications, archived data applications, data migration applications and supplemental database maintenance applications. (5%)
• Other duties as assigned (5%)

Skills

• Proficiency in writing and understanding SQL, Tableau, and Salesforce report writing
• Proficiency in writing and understanding SQL, SQL Reporting Services, Sharepoint report writing, Tableau, Data Warehouses, and AWS
• Must have a valid driver's license
• All candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and maintain that valid work authorization throughout employment
• Bachelor's degree in related field and 3 years of related experience
