Summary
Pennoni is a multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm founded more than five decades ago. They are currently seeking an Engineering Intern to assist on multi-discipline designs for public & private site development projects, supporting Staff and Project-level Engineers in various aspects of projects.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Engineers in the preparation of land development plans for public & private clients
- Contribute to the preparation of site plans; this includes site grading, stormwater management [SWM], and utility design for proposed land development projects
- Assist with the preparation of permit applications & reports
- Work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary team environment under the supervision of a Senior Professional Engineer
- Additional duties may be assigned, as needed
Skills
- Be enrolled in a relevant Engineering-oriented field of study (e.g.: Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Construction Engineering, etc.) at an ABET-accredited institution
- Exposure to relevant CADD & Engineering software tools (e.g.: AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bluebeam, etc.)
- This person will also be expected to utilize basic office software tools: MS-Office 365 (e.g.: Outlook, Excel, and Word) as well as Adobe PDF applications
- Exposure to land development, water resources engineering, and/or stormwater management design projects is a plus!
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
