Summary
Pluribus Digital partners with government customers to design, develop, and deliver impactful digital products that improve public services. The Associate Software Engineer designs, develops, tests, and maintains software solutions, implements features, troubleshoots issues, and collaborates with cross-functional teams while building technical expertise and professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain software solutions that support customer and business objectives
- Implement features and enhancements with limited supervision
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices
- Troubleshoot and resolve application defects and technical issues
- Collaborate with engineers, designers, product managers, and stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
- Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge-sharing efforts
- Participate in Agile planning, estimation, and delivery activities
- Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge of modern development practices
Skills
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- Bachelor's degree in a related technical field or equivalent experience
- Two or more years of software development experience
- Experience building and maintaining software applications
- Understanding of software engineering principles and development practices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience with cloud-native technologies and modern development frameworks
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
- Experience supporting federal government programs
- Relevant technical certifications
Qualifications
