Job description
Summary
Procom is a leading provider of professional IT services and staffing to businesses and governments in Canada. They are seeking a Technical Support Tester to run software installations and tests, record results, and assist with lab configurations.
Responsibilities
- Run predefined software installation and tests in a controlled environment
- Record both the system set up and test results accurately
- Assist in layout changes in the lab by rewiring configurations
- Assist with machine placements
Skills
- Experience debugging PC hardware platforms
- Building systems and configuring hardware
- Experience installing and running various PC operating systems including Windows 2000, Windows XP, Linux and Netware
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Can follow technical directions carefully and accurately
Qualifications
Must Haves
