Senior Accountant

Summary

Qualio is a unified quality and compliance management platform that helps regulated organizations get products to market faster with reduced risk. The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller, own a significant portion of the accounting functions, and use AI to improve processes, increase efficiency, and analyze data. The role includes month-end close, revenue management, billing, collections, reconciliations, audit support, and accounting process documentation.

Responsibilities

• Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations during monthly close
• Recording transactions in Rillet
• Manage Ramp for AP, corporate cards, and employee reimbursements
• Manage revenue (ASC 606)
• Using AI to improve processes, gain efficiency and analyze data
• Document processes for key accounting functions
• Billing customers and managing subscriptions in billing system (Maxio)
• Assist with customer collections
• Responding to information requests and assisting with audits, as needed
• Assisting with other projects, as needed

Skills

• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• SaaS industry experience (must have)
• Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and practices
• Advanced in Microsoft Excel (i.e. pivot tables, lookups, advanced formulas)
• Proven track record of using AI in your daily work
• Proactive, self-sufficient, and organized
• Meeting processing and reporting deadlines
• Strong priority management skills
• Experience working in a Subscription Billing Software
• Ideally at a high growth startup (a plus)
• Working knowledge of CRM software platforms (Salesforce & DealHub) (a plus)
