Job Summary: Students Enrolled in Workforce Development Class Phase II and selected to be part of the Student Internship program at RLMC will be assigned to one of the following four primary departments but may float to other locations as the needs of the organization or the interest of the student determines:

Radiology Intern: Transporting patients, room set up and clean up, tray set up

Clinic Intern: Transporting or wayfinding with patients, delivering lab specimens, cleaning exam rooms, document handling.

Retail Pharmacy: Cashiering, inventory tasks, customer service

Med Surg: Delivering meal trays, rounding on patients for hydration, blankets, comfort, social engagement with swing-bed patients.

Students will assist RLMC staff and provide excellent care and service to all external and internal customers while contributing to a positive work environment. Confidentiality and HIPAA compliance will be required at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Enrolled in Workforce Development Class Phase II at Falls High School
• Currently enrolled as a Junior or Senior at Falls High School

Completion of Healthcare Career Exploration Class with RLMC
