Summary
Bankrate, a personal finance company operated by Red Ventures, helps consumers compare financial products and make informed decisions. The Partnerships Manager will own strategic affiliate and publisher relationships across credit cards, home lending, and deposits, leading negotiations, performance management, onboarding, and cross-functional execution to grow revenue channels.
Responsibilities
- Partner ownership: Own day-to-day relationships and performance for high-value affiliate and publisher partners across Credit Cards, Home Lending (Mortgage/HELOC), and Deposits
- Business development: Lead sourcing and onboarding of new partnerships that expand reach and diversify channel performance
- Deal negotiation: Negotiate commission structures, placements, and co-marketing initiatives that protect margin while growing volume
- Performance management: Monitor pacing and ROI, partnering with BI and FP&A on forecasting and performance insight
- QBRs: Lead quarterly business reviews and performance conversations with priority partners
- Cross-functional execution: Work with Ad Ops and Marketing Ops to keep campaigns accurate and fulfillment on track
- Testing & optimization: Identify and drive opportunities to test new placements and formats
- Process improvement: Build and share best practices that raise the bar for how the team manages partners
Skills
- This role is open to remote or hybrid candidates (East Coast preference), with hybrid being central to our New York, NY or Charlotte area offices. Must be able to work Eastern Standard Time hours
- * Partnerships track record: 1–3 years managing affiliate or publisher partnerships against measurable performance goals
- * Negotiation and analytical range: A skilled negotiator with an analytical mindset and genuine partner empathy — you can hold both sides of a deal at once
- * Platform fluency: Experience with affiliate networks, SaaS platforms, or internal tracking systems
- * Stakeholder management: Strong communication and organization skills; comfortable managing multiple partners and internal stakeholders at once
- * Ownership mindset: A self-starter with a performance-first orientation who doesn't wait to be told what's next
- Experience in financial services is a plus
