Summary
Skilled Wound Care is a national surgical physician group providing wound care, ostomy care, and minor skin care services to nursing homes. The Credentialing Coordinator will manage physician and health practitioner credentialing and contracting processes, communicate with health plans, track applications, and support provider licensing improvements.
Responsibilities
- Communicate with a variety of health plans including Medicare and Medicaid
- Complete credentialing applications and contracts with health plans
- Work with our physicians to complete required documentation
- Diligently track progress of credentialing and contracting applications and communicate to leadership regularly
- Work cross functionally with other departments to ensure business goals are met
- Help to improve the provider licensing function as it continues to grow
Skills
- At least 1+ years of experience in credentialing
- Strong attention to detail, a proactive mindset, and excellent communication skills
- Credentialing experience with Behavioral Health
- Credentialing experience in all states in the East Coast and California
- This is a **REMOTE** role but **MUST** live in one of the following states: CA, CO,FL,GA,KS, MD,MO, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN ,TX, WY
