Job description

Summary

Sectra is a technology company providing medical IT, enterprise imaging, and secure communications solutions for healthcare organizations. The Clinical Application Specialist will work with customers to understand clinical workflows, configure and deploy applications, support implementations and go-lives, troubleshoot issues, train users, and optimize solutions after deployment.

Responsibilities

  • Work with customers to understand their clinical workflows and application needs
  • Configure, test, and deploy Sectra applications in partnership with project and technical teams
  • Support application implementation and go-live activities, both remotely and on-site
  • Analyze and troubleshoot application and workflow issues, partnering with technical teams when needed
  • Help customers optimize their use of Sectra applications after deployment
  • Deliver application training to end-users, administrators, and other end users
  • Develop training materials and documentation tailored to customer workflows
  • Gather user feedback and share insights with internal teams to support product and process improvements
  • Keep project managers informed of application activities, progress, and issues
  • Travel to customer sites as needed, up to 80%

Skills

  • Experience in cardiology or orthopaedic clinical workflows, with an interest in applying that knowledge to medical imaging technology
  • Experience supporting, implementing, or serving as a key user of PACS or other clinical imaging applications
  • Ability to analyze workflows and translate customer needs into application configuration and training
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence training and supporting a range of clinical and technical users
  • Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams
  • For a cardiology focus: Experience with echocardiography workflows, measurements, or measurement mapping
  • For an orthopaedic focus: Experience with orthopaedic templating, surgical planning, or related imaging workflows
  • Experience configuring or deploying PACS applications
  • Experience as a PACS Administrator, SuperUser, or clinical application specialist
  • Familiarity with Sectra applications
  • Experience supporting go-lives and troubleshooting applications in a customer environment
  • A relevant certification, such as CIIP, ARRT, ARDMS, or CCI, depending on your clinical background
