Summary

Segal McCambridge is a national litigation firm seeking an Associate Attorney to support its Colorado practice. The role involves managing civil litigation cases from inception through resolution, drafting legal documents, handling depositions, participating in hearings and mediations, and collaborating with clients and senior attorneys.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload with increasing autonomy
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions
• Participate in hearings, mediations, and case strategy
• Work directly with clients and collaborate with senior attorneys
• Develop strong trial-ready litigation skills in a supportive environment

Skills

• At least 3 years of experience in civil litigation
• **Active Colorado law license (required)**
• Solid legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
• Experience with motion practice, discovery, and depositions
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Ownership mindset and pride in producing high-quality work
• Additional licensure in surrounding states is a plus
