SemiAnalysis is an independent research and analysis firm specializing in the Semiconductor and AI industries. They are seeking a Technical Consultant to support consulting engagements and research initiatives across the semiconductor and AI ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis across semiconductor technologies, AI models, compute infrastructure, and related ecosystems
• Contribute to consulting engagements by developing technical analysis, research insights, and analytical models that inform client decisions
• Evaluate developments across the AI and semiconductor stack, including hardware systems, model architectures, and infrastructure deployments
• Help prepare clear, structured outputs including reports, presentations, and technical briefings for clients
• Work closely with research analysts and consulting leads to integrate proprietary research into consulting projects
• Track emerging technologies, startups, and industry trends across AI and semiconductor markets
• Support economic, technical, or market models that inform client strategy and investment decisions

Skills

• At least 2+ years of relevant experience in consulting, research, engineering, industry analysis, or a related technical role
• Technical background in semiconductors, AI/ML, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
• Ability to understand and synthesize complex technical concepts across multiple domains
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Intellectual curiosity and willingness to explore new technical areas quickly
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a globally distributed team
