Summary
Great Waters Federal, part of Seneca Nation Group’s federal government contracting portfolio, supports mission-critical needs for federal civilian, defense, and intelligence customers. The Air Force Junior Financial Management Specialist will support the deployment, sustainment, troubleshooting, and user training of financial data visualization tools for Air Force installations, while assisting with accurate financial reporting and dashboard integration.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the deployment and installation of Command-specific dashboards at Air Force installations, including minor modifications for local requirements
- Support daily sustainment and updates of dashboard capabilities, integrating multiple data sources (~30) and maintaining existing FMFO products (~80)
- Provide user support and troubleshooting for dashboard and Power BI tools, including responding to user inquiries and documenting issues
- Participate in training sessions for installation users, helping to develop and update training materials and guides
- Gather and document user feedback to identify training needs, system issues, and opportunities for improvement
- Support data extraction, validation, and integration efforts to ensure dashboards reflect accurate and complete financial information
- Assist in maintaining compliance with internal controls, security requirements, and government policies
- Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and user guides as directed by senior staff
Skills
- Minimum 2.5 years of experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Power BI or similar data visualization tools
- Strong customer service and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control
- Willingness to travel to Air Force installations as required
- U.S. Secret security clearance (requires US Citizenship)
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience in DoD FM processes and procedures for posting accounting entries
- Familiarity with AF Lines of Accounting and financial data elements
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, or High bond
