Summary
SEVA AI combines artificial intelligence, longitudinal health intelligence, and thoughtfully designed care experiences to help families understand, coordinate, and act on health information. The Software Engineer Intern will design, build, and maintain back-end services and APIs, while writing, testing, debugging, and documenting software and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support a reliable and scalable platform.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining back-end services and APIs that support health intelligence and care experiences
- Writing clean and efficient code
- Reviewing and testing software components
- Debugging issues
- Collaborating with cross-functional team members such as product managers, designers, and data scientists
- Working with databases
- Integrating third-party services
- Participating in code reviews and documentation to ensure reliability and scalability of the platform
Skills
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development principles
- Proficiency in Programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts
- Experience or coursework in Back-End Web Development, including working with APIs and databases
- Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow version control practices (e.g., Git)
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to debug and troubleshoot software issues
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a remote, cross-functional team
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Interest in healthcare technology and AI-driven products is a plus
