Job description
Summary
ShopMy is transforming e-commerce by building the infrastructure for human-led curation at scale. The company is seeking a Manager, Accounting Operations (Procurement) to own AP, expense, and travel operations, help build procurement processes, and support billing, month-end close, audits, and reporting as the finance function scales.
Responsibilities
- Own accounts payable, expense management, and travel operations day to day
- Help build ShopMy's procurement function, including vendor management and spend controls
- Partner cross functionally with legal, people, and IT teams to streamline processes as we grow
- Use AI tools to automate and improve how the team works
- Support billing operations as part of the broader finance function
- Collaborate with the Finance team on month end close, audits, and reporting
Skills
- 4-6 years in finance operations, accounting, or a related field, accounting background preferred
- Hands-on experience with AP, expense management, and travel programs
- Experience with or exposure to procurement and vendor management tools and process
- Comfortable building processes and finding creative solutions to problems
- Genuine fluency with AI tools
- Bringing order to a fast moving finance function
- Using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow
- Based in NYC or the Bay Area preferred; open to remote for the right candidate
- Experience standing up a procurement function from the ground up
- Background in a high growth technology or e-commerce company
- Familiarity with Zip, Ramp, or Navan
