Software Engineer (DevOps/.NET/Azure)

As a Software Engineer (DevOps/.NET/Azure), you will design, develop, and deploy software solutions for the Molecular Imaging Research & Development organization, focusing on applications within an Azure environment and improving developer workflows through DevOps practices.

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using C#/.NET
• Building and deploying applications within Azure-based environments
• Collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements and evaluate implementation approaches
• Developing solutions that improve developer productivity, system performance, and scalability
• Supporting and enhancing developer tooling using Azure DevOps, Git, Artifactory, and related platforms
• Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and automation to improve software quality and deployment efficiency
• Partnering with globally distributed teams across Knoxville, Hoffman Estates, Germany, and India to deliver aligned solutions
• Participating in Agile development processes while supporting multiple concurrent projects

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 0–3 years of professional experience in software development
• Hands-on experience with C#/.NET (required)
• Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms (preferred)
• Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps tools, or automation frameworks (preferred)
