The Machinery Specialist will conduct boiler and pressure vessel inspections, assess machinery and equipment safety and compliance, and provide clear reports and recommendations across a multi-state territory.
Responsibilities
- Conducting boiler and pressure vessel inspections and ensuring the safety and compliance of our clients' machinery and equipment
- Performing internal boiler examinations, requiring physical capability and attention to detail
- Communicate effectively with all levels of client management, providing clear and concise reports and recommendations
- Conducting jurisdictional inspections of regulated boilers and pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
Skills
- This full-time role is open to candidates based in Northern IA or Southwest WI
- A successful candidate will have a NB commission with "IS" endorsement or the ability to obtain a NB commission within 12 months of hire
- The candidate will be a well-motivated self-starter with good organizational skills and excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients at all levels
- They will have a proven ability to work independently and manage a multi-state territory
- They will be proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- They will be capable of performing internal boiler examinations, requiring physical capability and attention to detail
- They will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of client management, providing clear and concise reports and recommendations
- They will be capable of conducting jurisdictional inspections of regulated boilers and pressure vessels, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations
- They will have good knowledge of ASME, NBIC, and jurisdictional regulations
- Risk Assessment capability is a plus
- Experience in conducting jurisdictional inspections of regulated boilers and pressure vessels and commissions in IA and WI are a plus
