Job description

Summary

Subsplash is an engagement platform serving churches, Christian ministries, non-profits, and businesses. The Sales Development Representative generates and qualifies new leads, builds relationships with prospects, schedules meetings for Account Executives, and supports revenue growth through outreach and pipeline management.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize Salesforce, cold calling, and email to generate and source new sales opportunities
  • Engage with curiosity utilizing the discovery strengths needed for a complete solutions pitch
  • Pipeline management, through customized outreach strategies
  • Identify prospect’s needs and note them in Salesforce for demo purposes after the lead hand-off
  • Build relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Demonstrate being an introductory expert on Subsplash Platforms and services
  • Set up meetings or calls with (prospective) customers and Account Executies
  • Report to the Sales Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results
  • Effectively use provided technology, and account information to generate interest from prospects
  • Assess prospect needs and present appropriate solutions
  • Convert prospects into warm leads by scheduling a demo call with Account Executives
  • Participate in team‐building and company‐growth activities
  • Manage and track customer and transactional information in a CRM system
  • Represent Subsplash’s products and services, starting with a comprehensive understanding. of the platform and leading to consumer research to identify how our solutions meet needs
  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage Account Executives for next steps
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
  • Become an integral part of our revenue growth strategy

  • A coachable mindset and a drive toward humility, innovation, and excellence
  • A desire to grow within a sales organization
  • 0–2+ years of sales or customer-facing experience. We're evaluating communication, curiosity, and coachability just as much as track record
  • If you don't, adjacent experience in customer service, ministry, volunteer leadership, retail, or hospitality works too
  • No CRM experience required, but you should be comfortable picking up new systems quickly
  • Comfort (or growing comfort) articulating a value proposition and handling early objections
  • Familiarity with church staff roles and dynamics is a plus
  • If you have outbound sales experience (cold calling, cold email, pipeline management), that is a plus!
  • If you've used Salesforce or a comparable CRM, that's a plus
  • Familiarity with a full sales cycle is a plus but not required
