Summary
Support Revolution helps organisations reduce software support costs and redirect savings toward innovation and growth. The Tax Research Analyst will monitor, analyze, and interpret U.S. and Canadian tax and regulatory developments, assess their impact on payroll, finance, and enterprise applications, and provide actionable guidance to support compliant system and process updates.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and interpret tax laws, regulations, and policies across U.S. federal, state, and local jurisdictions, as well as Canada
- Research legislative and regulatory changes and assess their impact on payroll, tax, finance, and related applications
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Delivery, and Support teams to ensure compliant and timely system updates
- Provide clear, actionable guidance on tax and regulatory requirements
- Prepare documentation outlining legislative changes, business impacts, and required system/process updates
- Track upcoming regulatory changes and support compliance activities
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams
Skills
- 3+ years of experience in U.S. legislative analysis, payroll tax, legal compliance, or regulatory affairs
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax, legal, and regulatory frameworks; Canadian regulatory experience is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to translate complex regulatory information into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with ERP systems such as FSCM and HCM is desirable
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is preferred
Qualifications

- Strong understanding of U.S. tax, legal, and regulatory frameworks; Canadian regulatory experience is a plus
