Summary
The Greyhound Health Initiative is a nonprofit organization focused on sighthound health, education, and lifesaving programs. The Volunteer Fundraising Coordinator will support donor engagement, fundraising campaigns, donor identification, contribution tracking, and stewardship in collaboration with the Executive Director.
Responsibilities
- Support donor engagement through warm, timely communication and appreciation outreach
- Assist with planning and promoting small fundraising campaigns and virtual events
- Help identify potential donors, sponsors, and community partners aligned with GHI’s mission
- Maintain simple tracking of donor interactions, contributions, and follow‑up needs
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to ensure consistent messaging and donor stewardship
Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable reaching out to donors, partners, and supporters via email or social platforms
- Interest in nonprofit fundraising, donor relations, or community engagement
- Commitment of 2-10 hours per month
