Summary
The Pension Design Group is a third-party administration firm specializing in Defined Contribution and Cash Balance retirement plans. The Retirement Plan Administrator will manage a portfolio of retirement plans, perform compliance and reporting activities, and serve as a trusted resource for clients, financial advisors, and CPAs.
Responsibilities
- Managing a book of Defined Contribution retirement plans
- Performing annual compliance testing and consulting on plan compliance
- Preparing trust accounting, reconciliations, and annual valuation reports
- Preparing and reviewing Form 5500 filings
- Assisting with plan document amendments and operational compliance
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, advisors, and CPAs
- Staying current on ERISA, IRS, and DOL regulations and industry best practices
Skills
- Three or more years of Defined Contribution retirement plan administration experience
- Experience working with FT William and/or Datair software (preferred but not required)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
