Summary
Pentegra Retirement Services provides retirement services, and it is seeking a Retirement Document Specialist to prepare retirement plan documents and address plan provision questions. The role involves reviewing and drafting documentation, researching regulatory compliance, preparing notices and amendments, and supporting internal teams with document-related concerns.
Responsibilities
- Review of new client plan documentation and draft appropriate documents for conversion
- Analyze prospective clients’ plan documents, including 401(k), profit sharing, and 403(b) for potential takeover
- Draft plan amendments and resolutions for all products
- Draft and review summary plan descriptions (SPD) and summary of material modifications (SMM) as plans are amended
- Draft required IRS/DOL annual plan notices
- Research client requests to determine whether their plans comply with applicable government regulations and if Pentegra can and will administer such requests
- Act as a liaison for Internal Sales, Conversions and Operations to assist with document concerns
- Perform any additional duties, as assigned
Skills
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in retirement services industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Review and interpretation of plan provisions
- Able to communicate clearly and professionally to clients
- Able to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Minimum of 2 years' experience with drafting plan documents
- Experience in Retirement Plan Administration
- Experience in SalesForce
- Proficient in Relius/FIS Documents System
