Job description

Summary

Benetrends Financial is seeking a Retirement Plan Termination Analyst to support clients with retirement plan terminations. The role manages client communication, termination dates, plan documentation, and compliance with Department of Labor and Internal Revenue Service regulations while providing guidance to internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
  • Establish and coordinate plan termination dates
  • Update and maintain plan documents to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Stay current on all laws, regulations, and best practices in retirement plan administration
  • Provide training, guidance, and resources on retirement plan products and services to internal teams

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Advanced knowledge of retirement plan administration, DOL/IRS regulations, and tax rules
  • Exceptional customer service and client management skills
  • Strong organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and SRT systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
  • Have a home office
  • ASPPA credentials preferred
