Summary
The Standard is an insurance company focused on supporting customers through financial stability, customer service, and innovative technologies. The Proposal Analyst II manages multiple requests for proposals from intake through submission, coordinating with cross-functional teams to create accurate, competitive, and compliant materials while improving RFP response efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute multiple RFPs from intake through final submission
- Collaborate with internal partners to gather information and ensure accuracy of proposal content
- Develop clear, competitive, and compliant proposal materials aligned with solicitation requirements
- Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder input in a deadline‑oriented environment
- Recommend process improvements and contribute to enhancing RFP response efficiency
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or related field, or equivalent skills or experience
- 4+ years of experience project management experience, or experience supporting RFPs and proposals
- Strong organizational, time‑management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Ability to interpret requirements and produce accurate, customer‑ready materials
- Familiarity with proposal development tools, content libraries, or RFP management systems
- Ability to work independently on routine to moderately complex projects with minimal oversight
- 2+ years Insurance experience, preferable in employee benefits
