Summary
TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, and they are seeking a Product Operations Manager to lead their TikTok Shop certification programs for the U.S. market. This role involves defining quality merchant standards, conducting market research, and ensuring effective execution of go-to-market strategies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct deep-dive research into the U.S. consumer and merchant landscape
- Identify certification needs and establish a robust NPS (Net Promoter Score) feedback loop to drive continuous optimization
- Define and refine the 'TTS Top-Tier Store' criteria, focusing on brand influence and authorization
- Translate these high-level visions into actionable rules for merchant vetting and evaluation
- Lead the rollout of GTM rules across various industry categories
- Act as the primary advocate for these standards, ensuring both internal teams and external merchants fully understand and successfully complete the certification process
- Analyze the effectiveness of merchant certifications and user feedback
- Partner closely with Product and Strategy teams to iterate on rules that build consumer trust and foster a secure platform ecosystem
Skills
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in strategy operations or a related field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proven experience using data to drive strategic decisions and measure performance
- Experience with creator ecosystems or content-based commerce (e.g., livestream shopping, influencer-led affiliate models)
- Familiarity with US commerce best practices, merchant operation logic, and consumer behavior
