Summary
Trio Workforce Solutions is a workforce management company serving healthcare organizations through staffing, workforce strategy, and technology solutions. The Compliance Coordinator independently manages compliance processes for healthcare professionals, ensuring documentation, workflows, stakeholder communication, and onboarding activities meet regulatory, accreditation, and client-specific requirements. The role also maintains audit-ready records, monitors deadlines, and supports process improvement across compliance systems.
Responsibilities
- Independently manage compliance processes for healthcare professionals across multiple clients
- Own compliance files from initiation through completion, ensuring all requirements are met prior to assignment start dates
- Review, verify, and maintain required documentation including licenses, certifications, background checks, and health records
- Ensure all compliance files meet regulatory, accreditation, and client-specific standards
- Proactively manage compliance workflows, deadlines, and deliverables
- Monitor expirations, outstanding requirements, and time-sensitive compliance items
- Drive completion of compliance requirements through consistent follow-up and coordination
- Identify and escalate risks or delays that may impact start dates or compliance status
- Serve as a point of contact for compliance-related communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Communicate requirements, updates, and compliance status clearly and professionally
- Partner with staffing agencies, vendors, and client contacts to ensure timely completion of compliance items
- Support a consistent and high-quality stakeholder experience
- Maintain accurate and complete records within VMS, ATS, and compliance systems
- Track compliance progress, documentation, and status across systems
- Ensure data integrity, consistency, and audit readiness
- Utilize systems to monitor performance and manage workload
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements including HIPAA, OSHA, Joint Commission, and client-specific standards
- Maintain audit-ready compliance files at all times
- Monitor quality and accuracy across assigned files
- Support internal and external audits as needed
- Manage compliance requirements that vary by client, MSP, or program
- Adapt workflows based on client-specific expectations and regulatory requirements
- Ensure alignment with varying compliance standards across multiple clients
- Identify inefficiencies in workflows and contribute ideas for process improvement
- Collaborate with team members to improve execution, quality, and throughput
- Participate in team initiatives to enhance compliance processes
- Build advanced proficiency in VMS, ATS, and compliance systems
- Develop deeper understanding of regulatory requirements and client expectations
- Expand knowledge of compliance workflows and best practice
Skills
- Required: High School Diploma or GED
- 3–5 years of experience in healthcare staffing compliance
- Demonstrated experience managing compliance workflows or processes independently
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., Joint Commission, HIPAA, OSHA)
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and drive outcomes in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience working with VMS, ATS, or compliance systems
- Experience managing high-volume compliance files across multiple clients
- Experience supporting audits or maintaining audit-ready documentation
- Experience working with external vendors and client stakeholder
- Demonstrated ability to utilize AI-enabled tools to support workflow efficiency, documentation, and tracking
- Experience using AI tools to improve workflow management and productivity
- Experience working within an MSP healthcare compliance environment
