Summary
UNCOMN delivers secure solutions that support essential operations in the public and private sectors. The company is seeking a Financial Analyst to maintain forecasts, collect and validate financial data, analyze variances, support financial reporting, and improve reporting and analysis processes.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain monthly financial forecast
- Collect, organize, and validate financial and operational data from multiple sources
- Perform basic variance analysis to identify differences between actual results, budgets, and forecasts
- Assist with preparing and analyzing various financial reports and metrics
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes
- Assist with rolling up financial data into the annual company forecast
- Follow established accounting policies and procedures, and internal controls
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as requested by management
- Continuously improve reporting processes and identify opportunities to automate or streamline financial analysis

Skills
- • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, business, economics, engineering, finance or a related field
- • 1+ year of related professional experience
- • Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the US Government, which requires US citizenship
- • This position is primarily remote; however, candidates must be comfortable coming into the office on an as-needed basis, approximately once per month
- • General Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
- • Extensive experience using MS Office, specifically Excel
- • Prior experience using ERP systems
- • Prior experience using Power BI reporting or other data analytics software
- • Experience with UNANET and/or US Government pricing/contracts
