Operations Data Analyst

Summary

UnityPoint Health is a healthcare organization seeking an Operations Data Analyst to provide leadership with insights into clinical, organizational, and financial metrics. The role manages, collects, analyzes, and interprets data across departments to support strategic decision-making and actionable organizational improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide data management for departments across the organization
• Develop and implement procedures for effective data management
• Regularly monitor and evaluate information and data systems that could affect analytical results
• Assist with recognizing and upholding digital security systems to protect delicate information
• Work with cross organizational teams to support strategic initiatives
• Collect and interpret data from multiple modes and means for strategic decision-making
• Analyze the results for cross departmental use and provide insight on required actions
• Work alongside teams within the business to establish business needs
• Define new data collection and analysis processes

Skills

• Associates Degree Required Plus Two Years Of Relavant Experience
• Required To Have Advanced Skills In Excel And SQL
• Required to have experience in data entry and report writing support
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, or other analytics related field preferred; and/or six years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Preferred One year financial/data analysis or relevant experience in a health care organization
