Job description

Summary

The University of Kentucky's Human Development Institute is seeking an Administrative Research Assistant to support the Kentucky Alternate Assessment Project. The role focuses on editing and quality assurance, technical assistance, development of training resources, assessment documentation, and coordination of project activities for statewide assessments serving students with significant cognitive disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Editing & Quality Assurance: Edit, proofread, format, and quality-check assessment materials and project resources for accuracy, clarity, accessibility, and compliance
  • Technical Assistance & Customer Support: Provide technical assistance and support to educators, district personnel, and other stakeholders
  • Resource and Training Material Development: Develop and maintain user-friendly training materials, guides, FAQs, presentations, and online resources
  • Assessment Program Support and Documentation: Support statewide assessment activities through document preparation, tracking, records maintenance, and project documentation
  • Project Coordination and Other Duties: Coordinate with project partners and assist with meetings, scheduled assessment activities, and special projects
