Summary
The University of Virginia is seeking qualified student workers to assist with IT operations and support services. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise systems, endpoint management, and cybersecurity practices.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and update inventory records for Windows and macOS devices
- Assist in migration of devices to Microsoft Intune and Jamf
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain and track loaner laptop devices
- Provide basic AV support and training of our spaces
- Monitor and assist with remediation of security vulnerabilities
Skills

- Currently enrolled University of Virginia student
- Basic knowledge of computer systems
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Coursework or experience in IT or related field
- Familiarity with Intune, Jamf, or similar tools
