Summary

Val's Services is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining AI systems. The role involves working on customer-driven projects and transforming machine learning models into operational capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop machine learning pipelines for diverse data types (images, text, geospatial, time series)
• Automate complex data engineering and analytics workflows
• Design and implement core product functionalities
• Support mission-critical fieldwork supporting clients and stakeholders

Skills

• BS in computer science, machine learning, or related field with 2+ years' experience
• Proficiency in Python, with experience using TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn
• Strong software engineering fundamentals; familiarity with algorithms, data structures, and systems programming languages
• Experience with data-centric systems, cloud/containerized environments, and security clearance (US citizenship required)
• Advanced degrees
• Experience with imagery/video ML
• Experience with secure government projects
• Experience with modern software tools
