Job description

Summary

Waymaker Resource Group supports large-scale maintenance, construction, and operational improvement projects for federal, commercial, and international clients. The company is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, integrate, test, troubleshoot, and improve control systems for equipment, machinery, and industrial applications across nuclear, power generation, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, review, and support control system designs, electrical interfaces, and automation solutions
  • Support equipment design, system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance improvements
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, manufacturing, and project teams
  • Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and engineering documentation
  • Ensure designs meet applicable industry standards, safety requirements, and project specifications

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Controls Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline from an accredited institution
  • Experience with control systems, automation, machinery, equipment design, or industrial engineering applications
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and system requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
