Summary
Xe is a global provider of currency exchange, international money transfers, and corporate payments services. The Business Development Manager owns qualified opportunities from discovery through onboarding and first trade, converting them into revenue-generating corporate FX and payments clients. The role involves solution positioning, pricing, deal execution, pipeline management, and collaboration with Dealers, Credit, and Compliance.
Responsibilities
- Manage opportunities end-to-end from discovery through onboarding and first trade
- Run structured discovery to understand FX exposure, payment flows and risk management needs
- Lead solution positioning, pricing discussions and deal conversion
- Partner with Dealers, Credit and Compliance to execute deals efficiently and compliantly
- Maintain disciplined pipeline management, forecasting and CRM hygiene
- Represent Xe at events, webinars and partner activities as required
Skills
- 3+ years' experience in B2B sales, business development, or a customer-facing commercial role
- Ability to utilize technology to broaden the reach of the lead generation activities and identify buyers' intent through the conversion funnel
- Confidence engaging business owners, CFOs and senior finance stakeholders
- Strong commercial discipline and ability to progress deals through the full sales cycle
- Clear communication skills with the ability to listen, discover needs and articulate value
- Experience using CRM and sales engagement tools to manage activity, pipeline and reporting
- High ownership, resilience and a collaborative, team-first approach
- Working knowledge of global markets, interest rates and their impact on the FX market highly preferred
