Junior Corporate Services Systems Engineer

Summary

XM is seeking a motivated and curious Junior Corporate Services Systems Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, administration, and support of cloud systems and services while gaining hands-on experience with modern cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer multi-cloud subscriptions (PaaS/SaaS) across Microsoft Azure and other providers, overseeing implementation, capacity planning, and performance monitoring
• Resolve complex technical issues by providing Level 2 and Level 3 troubleshooting, incident management, and service-level tracking
• Oversee the Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) environment, including Conditional Access, identity protection, group management, and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations
• Manage Microsoft 365 Enterprise products (SharePoint, Teams, compliance tools) and administer Intune MDM for Windows, Mac, iOS, and Android endpoints
• Enforce role-based access controls (RBAC) by maintaining the Enterprise Access Control Matrix
• Partner with Information Security to research and deploy system hardening solutions, conduct routine security audits, and identify vulnerabilities
• Deploy automated patch management solutions for Microsoft and third-party software, including executing emergency patching procedures
• Liaise with external partners and cross-functional teams to design, deliver, and document new IT solutions that support business growth
• Mentor and train the IT Service Desk team, creating detailed documentation and work instructions to elevate overall support quality

Skills

• BSc/MSc in Information Technology or any other relevant degree
• At least 2 years of experience in a Systems Administration or relevant position
