Summary
Yaskawa America, Inc. is searching for an entry level Software Engineer to focus on developing software for value add processes in their Operations business unit. The Software Engineer will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle and provide support and training for developed products.
Responsibilities
- Focus developing software for value add processes in our Operations business unit
- Participate in all phases of software development life cycle including specification, detailed design, testing, design review, and development
- Provide support and training for developed products to related departments
- Support the advancement and implementation of operation improvements in the manufacturing and distribution process across the entire YAI OPS enterprise
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year in software development
- Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages (C++, SQL, Python, etc.)
- Good coding practices
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies
Qualifications
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year in software development
- Advanced knowledge of one or more programming languages (C++, SQL, Python, etc.)
- Good coding practices
