Summary
ACT is an organization dedicated to helping people achieve education and workplace success. ACT is seeking a Marketing Analyst I or II to analyze web traffic and campaign performance, develop marketing reports and dashboards, establish digital measurement goals, and recommend ways to optimize marketing performance.
Responsibilities
- **Understanding User Behavior** - Analyze web traffic and campaign performance data to identify trends, patterns, and insights
- **Reporting and Visualization** - Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reports for both ongoing and ad-hoc requests
- **Digital Measurement** - Collaborate with the marketing team to establish campaign tracking goals, KPIs, and translate stakeholder needs into solutions
- **Marketing Optimization** - Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing performance and surface opportunities
- Have a basic understanding of our web measurement, tracking setup, and user flows. Including GA4 and GTM. Have a basic understanding of advertising platforms, business goals, and the D2L registration cycle. Become familiar with the different areas of marketing and how we support/collaborate with them. Contribute to analysis, regular reporting, and ad-hoc requests
- Contribute to media planning, optimization, and identifying opportunities for improvement. Work with stakeholders to define problems, update measurement, and develop appropriate recommendations. Begin to lead analytics projects and work on larger questions related to user behavior and marketing performance
- Be able to speak comfortably to the various goals/opportunities for D2L marketing, the funnel, and digital strategy. Identify opportunities and pursue self-directed analytics projects. Have the chance to contribute to strategy development for the D2L market
Skills
- At least 1 year of experience in marketing analysis, with a focus on web analytics and paid advertising
- At least 3 years of experience in marketing analysis, with a focus on web analytics and paid advertising
- Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
- Experience with tagging and management systems such as Google Tag Manager
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with analysis and presentation tools such as Excel, Looker Studio, or Tableau
- Ability to organize data across sources and manage multiple data sets
- Knowledge of digital marketing channels and advertising metrics
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, Informatics, Business, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship
- Experience with web optimization and tools such as VWO or Adobe Target
- Basic familiarity with Snowflake or similar data warehouse
- Familiarity with LLM tools such as Claude, ChatCPT, or Gemini and implementing tools in workflows
