Summary
Baltimore Corps is seeking a Creative Designer with a strong background in instructional design, media creation, and graphic design. The role involves developing engaging learning materials and training resources by combining creativity with instructional strategy.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop engaging print, web, video, and interactive multimedia solutions for training, education, and communication initiatives
- Create blended learning solutions using a variety of instructional techniques and media assets
- Develop curriculum materials including facilitator guides, participant manuals, presentation decks, pre-work, post-work, case studies, and resource libraries
- Partner with senior team members and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design and implement learning solutions that support performance-based training
- Produce instructor-led, eLearning, mobile, and web-based training deliverables
- Design visually compelling graphics and presentations that align with organizational branding standards
- Create 2D and 3D animations, motion graphics, and multimedia content for educational purposes
- Draft graphic concepts from initial design through final production
- Develop interface designs, wireframes, responsive layouts, and mockups
- Capture, edit, and retouch photography and other visual assets
- Produce and edit audio and video content, including post-production and asset management
- Assist with storyboard development and organize multimedia assets for production
- Use SharePoint and other content management systems to publish and manage learning materials
- Set up, maintain, and archive production equipment and digital assets
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Art, Graphic Design, Web Design, Visual Communication, Instructional Design, or a related field
- 2–3 years of experience in instructional design, graphic design, multimedia design, or a related role
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related applications
- Strong understanding of design principles, including color theory, typography, and visual communication
- Experience creating instructional materials such as facilitator guides, manuals, presentations, and learning resources
- Healthcare finance industry experience
- Ability to provide a portfolio demonstrating instructional design and creative work
- Experience with Workday Learning
- Experience using eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate
- Proficiency with Adobe After Effects or other motion graphics software
- Experience with 3D graphics software such as Cinema 4D or Maya
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web technologies
- Experience with photo retouching and image manipulation
- Experience producing and editing audio and video using Adobe Creative Cloud applications
