Barry Katz Entertainment Internship

Summary

Barry Katz Entertainment is seeking hardworking and intuitive interns to kickstart their careers in the entertainment business. Interns will have the opportunity to work closely with CEO Barry Katz and gain exposure to various aspects of the industry, including artist management, production, and social media management.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with CEO, Barry Katz
• Familiarize interns with all facets of the entertainment business, including artist management, production, creative development, and more
• Work on various audio/video projects within the company, including proof of concepts, sizzle or acting reels, stand-up comedy sets, etc
• Work with a variety of comedy artists as they grow their online followings through creating vertical videos for social media
• Work on Barry’s podcast, Industry Standard
• Survey content and provide support for their social media profiles
• Supply coverage as well as other types of useful feedback
• Work with artists to develop their creative work into its very best form

Skills

• Multiple hours/week to devote to projects (remote or in person)
• Genuine interest/aspirations in the entertainment business
• Communicative and responsive over email and text
• Intuitive in understanding instructions and asking questions when needed
• Committed to working with us upon acceptance on the internship
