Summary
Molecular Devices, a Danaher operating company, develops automated and AI-enabled technologies that support scientific discovery in life sciences. The Field Service Engineer provides exceptional customer experiences by managing customer accounts, resolving technical issues, managing a diverse technical product portfolio, and proposing process improvements. This fully remote Chicago-area role supports customers across the greater Northwest United States and requires substantial travel.
Responsibilities
- Proactively manage customer accounts, while building and fostering positive and professional relationships with both external and internal customers
- Propose process improvements that improve internal and external customer processes
- Manage a diverse technical product portfolio
Skills
- Associates degree with 2+ years of Field Service experience or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biology or related degree or equivalent military experience
- Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving and repair skills with strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills utilized in a professional manner
- Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
- Previous experience with a customer facing role
- Previous experience managing a diverse product portfolio
Qualifications
Must Haves
- Associates degree with 2+ years of Field Service experience or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biology or related degree or equivalent military experience
- Advanced troubleshooting, problem-solving and repair skills with strong attention to detail
