Summary

CAP Services Inc. is seeking a Jobs & Business Development Coordinator to support clients enrolled in its Jobs and Business Development Program. The role provides direct assistance and technical support for creating or expanding businesses, facilitates access to financing and loan packaging, and coordinates with community agencies, businesses, and lenders.

Responsibilities

• The position is charged with delivery of direct assistance to clients enrolled in CAP Services’ Jobs and Business Development Program, including support and technical assistance resulting in the creation or expansion of a business and facilitating access to financing and loan packaging
• Must be able to work with a variety of community agencies, businesses and lenders in obtaining services for clients
• Ability to travel independently and have access to an insured vehicle (work-related mileage reimbursed)

Skills

• BA/BS in related field (business, finance, marketing, communications)
• Or non-related BA/BS and three years' experience in business or economic development
• OR associate degree in related field and five years' experience in business or economic development
• OR high school diploma and seven years' experience in business or economic development
• Must be able to work with a variety of community agencies, businesses and lenders in obtaining services for clients
• Ability to travel independently and have access to an insured vehicle (work-related mileage reimbursed)

Qualifications

Must Haves

• BA/BS in related field (business, finance, marketing, communications)
