Account Manager EPS

Summary

Carpenter Co. is a company focused on efficient manufacturing processes, sustainability, and improving quality of life. The Account Manager will develop and maintain relationships with manufacturing and fabrication clients across Alabama, North Florida, and West Georgia, while prospecting for new business, resolving customer issues, and managing territory reporting. This remote role requires travel and residence within the designated sales territory.

Responsibilities

• Thorough Knowledge and understanding of Carpenter’s products and capabilities
• Servicing existing accounts and prospect and close new business accounts through organization and efficient planning
• Work with plant personnel, technical center and management to develop solutions to customer issues
• Prepare weekly call reports and weekly sales reports
• Prepare monthly and annual territory analysis to be submitted to the Sales Manager in order to strategize and discuss business goals

Skills

• 3+ years of sales/marketing and/or technical experience in building trades and/or insulation industry
• Knowledge in sales force CRM and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook)
• Strong critical thinking, communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to travel overnight required
