Summary
Cencora is a healthcare company focused on creating healthier futures for people and animals. The Consumer Category Management Intern will support administrative and operational activities such as new item tracking, return authorizations, contract monitoring, supplier meetings, and category review materials while gaining hands-on exposure to category management.
Responsibilities
- Support new item ordering and tracking activities
- Create, request, and track return authorizations
- Request GNP product images for reporting agencies
- Track contract status and support related administrative follow-up
- Partner with a lead Category Manager to learn the category review process
- Attend supplier meetings to gain exposure to category management activities
- Assist in creating category review documents and supporting materials
Skills
- Currently pursuing coursework in a business-related field, including marketing, management, finance, accounting, or supply chain
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 360
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to manage administrative tasks, tracking activity, and documentation accurately
- Interest in category management, supplier relationships, and business operations
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members and business partners
- No formal category management experience required; prior work experience in customer-facing fields is a plus
- Rising sophomore, junior, or senior at the time of the internship preferred
