Summary
Cencora is united in its responsibility to create healthier futures. The Intern, Implementation Project Manager will support the Integration Project Management team by planning and documenting client launches, facility onboarding, and transitions, while developing workflows and implementation tools. The intern will collaborate cross-functionally, track project progress, and prepare project updates and materials for stakeholders and leadership.
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, documentation, and optimisation of processes for new client launches, onboarding at a new facility, and transitioning existing clients to that facility
- Assist in developing workflows, process maps, checklists, implementation tools, and standardised materials to support launch readiness
- Work cross-functionally with Distribution team leads, IT, Account Management, Customer Service, Client Financial Services, and Implementation stakeholders
- Help define required process updates, identify risks and gaps, and support the creation of a structured execution roadmap with milestones, sequencing, and key decision points
- Support the definition of launch readiness criteria and operational handoff requirements
- Track action items, key deliverables, project timelines, and implementation progress
- Prepare summaries, presentations, and status updates for project stakeholders and leadership
- Contribute to improving launch readiness, reducing operational risk, and supporting a smooth client onboarding and transition experience
Skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Suitable for an undergraduate or graduate student with an interest in operations, process improvement, or project management
- Must not require sponsorship to work in the United States now or in the future
- Motivated, curious, and eager to learn
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
- Adaptable and open to feedback
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
