Summary
Centerstone is a nonprofit behavioral health system dedicated to delivering care that changes people’s lives. The Senior Accountant performs intermediate-level accounting work, including general ledger analysis, reconciliations, month-end closing, banking reporting, audit documentation, allocations, external funding expenses, and budget procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, approve, and verify entries into the general ledger
- Perform general ledger analysis as assigned by Assistant Controller or Finance Officer
- Assist in month end duties for closing of the financials
- Perform other closing task as needed
- Perform AR reconciliations for multiple accounts
- Assist in banking reporting
- Audit documentation preparation and work with auditors
- Prepare allocations and run in Workday
- Prepare expenses for external funding
- Assis with budget procedures and process
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related field
- Two years of general ledger accounting experience
- Ability to analyze fiscal data
- Prior budgeting experience
