Summary
Crew helps clients deliver change through IT project delivery, business process improvement, and operational efficiency efforts. The IT Business Analyst will gather and analyze requirements, support backlog and delivery activities, engage stakeholders across Quality, Manufacturing, and IT, and assist with testing, documentation, training, and system adoption.
Responsibilities
- Gather and document requirements from global process owners, site subject matter experts, and business stakeholders
- Analyze current processes and identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and system functionality
- Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Help align site-specific needs with global processes and standards
- Partner with Product Owners, project managers, and development teams to refine and prioritize the backlog
- Work with internal IT teams and external vendors to clarify requirements and resolve questions throughout delivery
- Review proposed solutions and delivered functionality to ensure alignment with business requirements
- Serve as a liaison between Quality, Manufacturing, and IT teams
- Facilitate discussions to align stakeholders on requirements, priorities, and process changes
- Support change management, user training, and communications for new or enhanced systems
- Support user acceptance testing, including developing test scenarios, coordinating business participation, and tracking issues through resolution
- Create and maintain requirements, process documentation, user guides, and work instructions
- Follow applicable GxP, validation, and documentation standards in partnership with Quality and validation teams
Skills
- 1–3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting IT, data, or digital initiatives
- Experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or another regulated environment
- Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, and documentation skills
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, user stories, and sprint ceremonies
- Experience using Jira or similar project and requirements management tools
- Ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing, training, or system adoption
- Exposure to Quality or Manufacturing processes and enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, or QMS
- Familiarity with GxP requirements and computerized system validation
- Experience working with global teams or supporting initiatives across multiple sites
Qualifications
Must Haves
