Job description

Summary

CrossCountry Consulting is an advisory firm providing accounting and risk, technology-enabled transformation, and transaction solutions. The Salesforce Business Analyst will serve as a client-facing partner, gathering and translating business requirements into Salesforce implementation deliverables while coordinating with technical and project teams. The role also supports integrations, project execution, and compliant AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand business goals, document requirements, and translate them into clear user stories and functional specifications
  • Facilitate and support discovery sessions, workshops, and stakeholder interviews to gather and validate business requirements
  • Collaborate closely with Salesforce configurators, developers, and project managers to ensure requirements are accurately understood and delivered
  • Analyze complex business processes and break them down into smaller, manageable, and actionable requirements across the full project lifecycle — from discovery through deployment
  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog, working with technical teams to refine user stories and define acceptance criteria
  • Support system integrations by identifying business needs and facilitating collaboration between client stakeholders and technical teams
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of client-facing deliverables, including process documentation, training materials, and status reports
  • Evaluate and escalate project issues, risks, or conflicts as needed, offering proactive suggestions to ensure smooth project execution
  • Contribute to developing and implementing firm-approved, AI-enabled solutions for clients, in accordance with company policies on data protection, intellectual property, and professional standards
  • Stay informed about emerging AI tools and techniques and collaborate with firm leadership to identify compliant opportunities to enhance client solutions and internal processes

Skills

  • 3–5 years of experience in a Salesforce consulting firm or professional services environment, supporting Salesforce implementation projects in a Business Analyst role
  • Solid understanding of the Salesforce platform, including core objects, the data model, and key product areas such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and/or Experience Cloud — without the need for hands-on configuration expertise
  • Experience facilitating requirements-gathering sessions and translating business needs into user stories, process flows, and functional documentation
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices
  • The ability to work within a team environment, supported by strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Well-organized, results-driven, and the ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced consulting environment with multiple client engagements
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, presentation/facilitation, and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel for client and team engagements as needed
  • Comfort with AI: Demonstrated ability to responsibly explore and adopt firm-approved AI tools to enhance productivity and innovation
  • Continuous Learning Mindset: Openness to learning and applying emerging technologies, including AI and automation, in alignment with firm policies and client standards
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a consulting or professional services environment is required
  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Business Analyst) are a plus but not required
