Job description
Summary
CVS Health is focused on simplifying health care and supporting individuals, families, and communities. The Analyst, Financial Reporting & Analysis supports Medicare Part D operations by preparing and reviewing accounting entries, financial statements, reconciliations, payments, and audit materials while coordinating with other departments and locations.
Responsibilities
- This role is supporting Medicare Part D
- Prepare and review accounting entries posted to the general ledger to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Review and interpret accounting/financial reports and propose necessary changes to management
- Compile and distribute financial statements and related information
- Prepare account reconciliations and supporting financial statement schedules
- Provide information and assistance to support various audits
- Coordinate accounting matters with other departments and locations
- Prepare the weekly/monthly payments
Skills
- 0-1 years of finance or accounting experience (school or internships do count)
- Microsoft Office experience, especially with Microsoft Excel
- Bachelor's Degree Required
- 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with Medicare Part D
- Accounting or Finance preferred
Qualifications
