Job description

Summary

The client is a specialist medical technology organization providing advanced equipment and technical support to healthcare facilities. The Field Service Engineer will install, maintain, repair, and provide technical support for medical systems across Central and South Florida, troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software, and networking issues, and complete accurate service documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide installation, maintenance, repair, and technical support for medical systems across Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Gainesville, with additional South Florida coverage as required
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, software, and networking issues
  • Complete service reports and technical documentation accurately
  • Travel approximately 80%, with flexibility to support second and third shifts when required

Skills

  • 3+ years of medical equipment field service experience
  • Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot analog and digital electronics, software, and networking issues
  • Associate degree in Electrical, Biomedical, or Computer Engineering
  • Based in or able to effectively cover the Central Florida territory
  • Hands-on, technically capable, and confident working independently
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and comfortable working as part of a wider service team
  • Medical imaging experience preferred
  • A bachelor's degree preferred
  • Military veterans are strongly encouraged to apply
